I sweat the small stuff so you don’t have to!

In fact, I’m pretty awesome at worrying about lots of little things. Buying a house? Easy peasy! Moving overseas? A cinch! But an overdue bill? Heaven forbid! And a formatting mistake? Not on your life!

What keeps me up at night may not make sense to everyone, but it’s not everyone’s job to fret about whether this meeting has been scheduled or that client has been contacted.

You see, a little bit of stress isn’t unhealthy. It can be stimulating and help you focus. But too much stress can do more damage than you realise. Worrying about all of these little things can add up.

So I’ve been thinking… what if you can hand your stress over to someone else to deal with? Because when you get down to it, isn’t that what a Virtual Assistant is for? Handing over tasks that in return reduce your stress. Doing so will not only give you more time to focus on what really matters to you, but you will also be able to address those important issues with more focus and clarity.

I’ve always been pro-outsourcing, whether it be small or large. My partner, on the other hand, is more inclined to try and do things himself. But why trouble yourself with something when you know full well that there is a more qualified person out there to do it for you? And probably do it better.

For example, if you are painting your house then you call in a painter. You may be able to do it yourself, but why deal with the stress and extra work? And end up with a less than perfect result.

There’s no shame is asking someone else to do what you can’t.  That’s why I’m happy to stress about what you don’t need to.
